In the period 04-07 May 2026, the Fifth Training of Trainers (ToT) took place in Hammamat. This event was arranged by ANETI – the Tunisian Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training in cooperation with BIP, and is the first project together with ANTI (The Tunisian National Agency for Employment and Self-Employment) to start the Youth Entrepreneurship program.
ANETI personnel attending the training were Mr. Hisham bin Hussein, Director of Initiative Development and Advancement of Micro Enterprises, Mr Yasser Oulad Moussam from the Training and Skills Development Department, and Mrs. Besma Rouassi the ANETI & BIP coordinator. Twenty ANETI candidates joined the training from various cites in Tunisia. These ToT participants are now ready to start BPD training at their centers.
The projects will be coordinated by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training and have a time frame of until the end of 2027, with yearly revisions. The projects are financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The project with ANETI is aimed at supporting their already existing programs with practical tools and methods. The aim is also to develop a Training of Trainers group that gradually will take over the program. The target group for this project is entrepreneurs who are looking for opportunities to start their own businesses. So far, all training sessions have been conducted with very good evaluation results.
All in all, more than 100 trainers are now driving BPD training for youths. BIP will organize more activities for the future so trainers can get more skills of a higher level.
