2024: Vocational Training Centers Practicing BIP Methods in Tunisia.

In December 2024, 20 Training Leaders and 206 students from 10 Vocational Institutions started training under the auspices of the BIP program in various districts, after three Training of Trainers sessions for more than 30 centers in 2024. The ATFP heralded the implementation of the BIP material for students in the 9 of the Vocational Centers. Youths have dreams. They’d like to have their own job to secure their future with a good income.

BIP personnel followed up the activity in cooperation with all personnel from the Tunisian Ministry for Labour and Vocational Training. The program’s goal is to have the Entrepreneurship program in very many Vocational Schools in different regions as the first phase of the project.

A Follow Up Team from the Ministry and BIP is planned to follow up the activity and do everything possible to achieve the best result for this phase of the project.

2024: BIP starts follow up of activities in Tunisia.

In October 2024, BIP personnel travelled to Tunisia to follow up the Entrepreneurship program for the Ministry of Labor & Vocational Training. BIP project Manager Hussein Tahir visited 4 Vocational Schools in different regions around the capital Tunis. In the 4-day period 15-18th. October meetings were held with personnel from the Ministry, trainers from the courses recently undertaken, and coordinators. The schools involved are the Sectoral Center for Training in Mechatronics in Borj Cedri, the Sectoral Training Center for Service Professions in Gammarth, the Sectoral Center for Training in Food Industries in Al Khadra District, and the Sectoral Training Center in Electricity and Biomedical Equipment Maintenance in Tunis.
